Here you'll find flower filled meadows, fairies and animal friends.  "The Meadow Series" is in progress and you can start with the first book, "April's Rain".  Follow April through the meadow as she learns the secret to making it rain!

April's Rain children's book

“…amazing…A beautiful little book for children and the young-at-heart about a little fairy who is supposed to make it rain. No one has told her how to so, she sets off on a walk through the meadow and asks her animal friends if they know.

Pencil and watercolor illustrations by the author add a wonderful touch to this book.”

 Children's book April's Rain

“How do I make it rain?” wonders the little fairy, April.

Join her as she goes on a quest to find out. Along the way, she’ll be given some unusual advice by her animal friends. But, will April finally discover the secret?

April’s Rain is a book enjoyed by children ages 3-8 (and adults who love a little magic). This fairy tale has a genuine simplicity and encourages a love of nature with pages sprinkled with charming watercolor art.

April’s Rain is set in a field of wildflowers, oak trees and tall grass. And if you are from Northwest Ohio, you might recognize some of the elements as native prairie plants found in the Oak Openings Region – Little Bluestem, Blazing Star, Black-eyed Susan and (my favorite) Wild Blue Lupine.
