"A picture is a silent poem..."
Welcome to my
photo gallery.  Here you'll find images of nature, sacred sites, Buddhist ceremonies, wise old faces and smiling children.  As I see and experience the world, I want my images to express the essence of a place, the energy and spirit of the people I photograph.  I try to create a sense of the experience, a feeling of what it was like to be there.

For me, art and spiritual practice go closely together. Both go beyond words to touch the deep places of the soul. When I pick up my camera and put eye to viewfinder, all distractions disappear. My perception sharpens and I find myself fully present with what I see around me. The camera becomes a way to receive the world, and through it, I cultivate a sacred way of seeing.

" Deb is an amazing photographer, and I speak from personal experience, as
five of her beautiful photos are featured in my new garden book.  She has a special knack for capturing the spirit of sacred sites and the people who live there. "
