About Flowering Moon
Growing up in a small town in Northwest
Ohio, I always wanted to travel. And,
that has become my life. Since, 1997,
I have lived in Asia and the Middle East, currently settled in Chiang Mai,
Northern Thailand, with my husband Greg and
a sparrow called Grace.
From this beautiful setting, my lifelong
passion for art, music and spiritual
discovery continues to take me around the
world. My journey encompasses sacred
sites and mystical places as I gather
knowledge of ancient traditions, shamanic
practices, ceremonies and healing methods
drawn from many cultures.
I love to walk on holy ground; pray and do
ceremony where the Ancient Ones walked.
In all my work, I honor the Divine Feminine,
and women's sacred crafts and traditions.
And, my study of Sacred Space and the
relationship between art, nature and
spirituality is ongoing. A certified Master
Teacher of Feng Shui and Space Clearing, I
am also a Soul Coach, Reiki teacher and
gifted intuitive, with nearly 20 years
experience of working in the field of
personal development and transformation.
As a photographer and writer, my work has
been published in books and
magazines internationally.
Often people ask me about the name "Flowering Moon".
This is a traditional
Native
American name given to the moon cycle in
May, my birth month. It is also my Spirit
Name. When I think of these words, I am
present to the energy of
new life, opening, emerging, and I imagine the
gentle unfolding of brilliant, colorful petals.
This expansive, creative energy is what I express in the world
though my art and teaching.
I appreciate the Divine that is imminent in
each moment. I live with simplicity.
I look for wisdom in ordinary things, listen for messages from
Spirit and pay attention when Isis
whispers in my ear. I receive, reflect
and express, finding the beauty and
interconnection in all things.
